Pastoral Ministries is dedicated to authentic Catholic teaching and addresses areas of pastoral care, parish outreach, spirituality, marriage and family, evangelization, and adult faith formation/enrichment in the lives of parishioners to create a vibrant faith community.
The Catholic’s Divorce Survival Guide is a new ministry offered this fall to help divorced parishioners find peace, power, and passion after divorce. There is no such thing as “Catholic Divorce,” yet Catholics do civilly divorce. This ministry will encourage healing through the Sacraments where you will personally encounter Christ—with all His love and tender mercies. You are not alone. There is room at the table for all.
Every parishioner has 24-hour access, 7 days a week to FORMED which is the best online Catholic content on your computer, smartphone and tablet. FORMED features Catholic faith formation programs, full-length feature movies, audios, and e-books! Register here to access.
Compassionate Hearts Ministry
The mission of this new ministry is to reach out to the spiritual and physical needs of our parish family with love, patience, kindness, generosity, and prayer-filled support. Through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we bring comfort and care to those who are sick, homebound and suffering. View brochure and volunteer flyer for info call (920) 892-4006.
We are not meant to grieve alone. Bereavement Ministry is the liaison between the Church and families who are experiencing the death of a loved one. The experience of grief while mourning a loss can be shared with others and the sorrow eased through this ministry. St. John the Baptist and St. Thomas Aquinas parishes have joined together to establish a combined bereavement ministry for our faith communities.. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Mondays 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. in Church
"Behold I will be with you always even to the end of the world," because "I have loved you with an everlasting love, and constant is my affection for you." (Mt 28:20; Jer 31:3)
“Christian marriage, like the other sacraments, “whose purpose is to sanctify people, to build up the body of Christ, and finally, to give worship to God,” is in itself a liturgical action glorifying God in Jesus Christ and in the Church.” Pope John Paul II
Marriage Enrichment (for married couples) and Premarriage Preparation (for engaged couples) aid couples in the Sacrament of Marriage so that they may experience a life-long marriage. Whether you are preparing for marriage, or if you shared an anniversary or two... or twenty... and you’ve learned a lot about yourselves and each other so far, marriage needs intentional love and care.
What if marriage is more than you think it is? What if God has woven into the very fabric of your humanity a purposeful need and desire that can only be fulfilled in your marriage?
Recognizing that all life is a masterpiece of God’s creation and made in His own image, all life is deserving of the utmost respect. Therefore, we are called to live the Gospel of Life from conception to natural death. Our scope of concern includes abortion, human cloning, embryonic stem cell research, human dignity in life, capital punishment, and euthanasia. Please contact Pastoral Ministries at for information on upcoming events.
Rosary for Life is prayed prior to Mass on the first Saturday and Sunday of each month. Sponsored by the Respect Life Ministry.
