St. John the Baptist is blessed with a Pastor who truly cares about the members of St. John the Baptist. Father Van Beek enjoys sharing fascinating historical references related to the time of the gospel during his homilies. Our parish staff are here to help you in any way we can. Very Reverend Dennis E. Van Beek

Father Van Beek, a native of West Bend, Wisconsin, entered St. Francis Seminary in Milwaukee on September 6, 1957. He was ordained in service to the Milwaukee Archdiocese on May 24, 1969.

A former pastor of Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Parish (North Fond du Lac, Wisconsin) and St. Thomas Aquinas Parish (Waterford, Wisconsin), Father Van Beek now serves St. John the Baptist as pastorate. He has been leading our parish since 1999.

In service to the Archdiocese, Father served two terms on the Priest Placement Board while pastoring in North Fond du Lac and Waterford. He was appointed Dean of District 3 (Walworth, Kenosha and western Racine Counties).

Father serves as Dean of District 9 (Sheboygan County) and is a member of the Archdiocesan Priests Council in service to the Archbishop.

Sister Joan Marie Van Beek, SSND is Father's one living sister. She served in Ghana, West Africa for over 20 years. She now resides in Wisconsin.
